Our research group is located in Building 80 at San Francisco General Hospital (UCSF) above the historic Ward 86 HIV clinic.

The research group of Dr. Nathan Lo is based in the Division of HIV, Infectious Diseases, and Global Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Our group aims to better understand transmission of infectious diseases to design more effective public health policies to control and eliminate them locally and globally, with particular attention to vulnerable populations. Our current research focuses on tropical diseases, vaccine-preventable infections, and COVID-19. We are recruiting for research positions at all levels, and welcome applicants.

Candidates interested in working on computational public health research related to infectious diseases with a strong quantitative background are highly encouraged to apply.
